Mashkode Connect 2026: Building Relationships Through First Nations Procurement

Mashkode Supply is proud to invite customers, community leaders, suppliers and partners to Mashkode Connect 2026, taking place Monday, November 2, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Smitty’s Westwood Lounge in Winnipeg.

Mashkode Connect is designed first and foremost as an evening of networking, relationship building and connection.

As a First Nations-owned procurement company, Mashkode Supply believes strong business begins with strong relationships. This event will bring together First Nations leadership, community departments, suppliers, manufacturers and industry partners in a relaxed environment where people can meet, exchange ideas and explore new procurement opportunities.

More Than a Supplier

Mashkode Supply is 100% First Nations owned by Brokenhead Ojibway Nation and was created to make procurement easier for First Nations communities.

Rather than requiring communities to work with dozens of different suppliers, Mashkode can act as a single procurement partner capable of sourcing thousands of products across a wide range of categories.

Our goal is simple:

Tell us what you need. We’ll source it for you.

Explore Products for Every Community Department

Throughout the evening, guests will be able to visit product displays representing the everyday purchasing needs of First Nations communities, including:

  • Public Works and Infrastructure

  • Water and Wastewater

  • Education and Early Learning

  • Housing and Home Outfitting

  • Band Administration

  • Health and Community Services

  • Safety and PPE

  • Tools, Equipment and Facility Maintenance

Representatives from selected suppliers and manufacturers will also be available to answer questions and discuss products, applications and purchasing requirements.

Connect With People Who Understand Community Procurement

Mashkode Connect is an opportunity to meet the people behind Mashkode Supply and learn how our procurement model can support your community.

Whether you manage a school, water treatment plant, Public Works department, housing program, Band Administration office or another community operation, we want to better understand what you purchase, the challenges you face and how Mashkode can make sourcing those products easier.

The evening will also provide opportunities to connect with other First Nations leaders, procurement professionals, suppliers and industry representatives.

Food, Conversation and Community

Mashkode Connect is intended to be informal and welcoming.

Guests will enjoy a buffet meal and beverages while networking and exploring the product displays. Members of Brokenhead Ojibway Nation Chief and Council will be in attendance, with a short address from the Chief and a welcome from Mashkode Supply General Manager Clay Kendall.

Most importantly, there will be plenty of time for conversation, and lots of door prizes!
